 |
| Controls start in fact with the fruit suppliers,
who are inspected annually by Vis technicians, to
ensure that health and hygiene regulations are respected.

Then, on arrival at the factory,
the ingredients undergo careful analysis
before being accepted for jam production.

 |
| In the jam production phase, controls
are made by instruments that have systems
capable of recognizing possible defects, rejecting
any imperfect product and automatically transmitting
the data to the laboratory. To guarantee maximum
efficiency, the equipment is checked daily and also
receives careful and continuous maintenance. |

The finished jam
is then sampled and undergoes a
series of analyses by the lab technicians,
to check its chemical, physical and micro-biological
conformity.

|
Thanks to a modern traceabilty information
system, the company is also able to manage
and file the information regarding the different lots of ingredients
used, their origin, the finished jam and its destination,
thus increasing food safety.
