As well as opening the doors
of its production plants to students, Vis has also tried
over the years to cultivate its relationship
with schools by taking part in various
events organised by the schools themselves.
A recent example is a series of lessons given by Vis
technicians in a secondary school for vocational training,
in the course of which issues concerning diet
and industrial production were discussed with
interested and enthusiastic young students.
Another example is the organisation of “cookery
classes” where students are invited to come
up with new ideas for using Vis jams in innovative recipes.
