FROM SOUTHERN AND
CENTRAL ITALY: come off the A1 motorway in Milan
and follow the east-bound ring road towards Vimercate
until you exit at Usmate. Take the SS 36 road for
Merate-Lecco. Follow directions for Sondrio/Valtellina
on the dual carriageway SS 31, by-passing Lecco,
and follow the SS 38 past Sondrio towards Bormio.
Exit at Lovero.
FROM EASTERN AND CENTRAL ITALY: come
off the Venice-Milan motorway at Brescia Ovest and
take the ring road towards Lago d’Iseo. Continue
on the SS 510 towards Iseo-Boario-Darfo and then
take the SS 42 to Edolo. Then take the SS 39 for
Aprica, and from there go down to Tresenda. From
Tresenda head towards Bormio, passing Tirano, and
go on until you reach Lovero.
FROM WESTERN ITALY, coming through Como:
come to Como (exiting the Milano-Como motorway at
Como Grandate) and then travel the along SS 639
to Lecco; from Lecco follow the indications for
Valtellina given above for Southern and Central
Italy.
FROM WESTERN ITALY, coming through Milan:
exiting from the Milan-Varese motorway
follow the Milan-Venice signs for Venice till the
Sesto S. Giovanni exit. Follow signs for Lecco and
then the indications given above for Southern and
Central Italy.
