This is the typical Italian Carnival sweet: the Chiacchiere.


- 150g flour 00

- 1 egg 

- 30g butter

- 30g sugar 

- 2 spoons of limoncello

- 1 spoon  of vanilla aroma

- 1 ampule of lemon aroma 

- 1 milk q.b.

For stuffing:

- 1 jar of apricot Vis jam

For garnish:

- icing sugar q.b.



Pour into the kitchen robot the flour, the egg, the sugar and the butter (previously cutted in pieces). Start to mix and after some minutes add the limoncello and the two aromas. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous dough.

Divede the dough in two parts and roll out them using the appropriate machinery.

Spread the jam over one rolled pastry and then cover with the other one. Cut the pastry in order to obtain the chiacchiere, then dispose them over a baking tray previously covered with a baking paper. Spread all chiacchiere with some milk and cook them in a pre-heated oven to 180°C for about  15/20 minutes.

Let them cold and sprinkle them with icing sugar.
