- 1 handmade ricotta
- 2 spoons of lime Vis honey
- chopped pistachios.
Drain ricotta and let it rest in the fridge for a a couple of hours in order to lose some of its whey. Turn on the oven to 180 ° C. Put ricotta cheese on a baking tray covered with a sheet of baking paper. Brush the cheese with plenty of honey. Cover with pistachios and bake for 45 minutes in the middle part of the oven. Let cool completely and keep it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Advice: After 30 minutes of cooking, you may need to cover ricotta with a sheet of aluminum.
You can serve your baked ricotta for breakfast or as a snack, with some toasted bread and little more honey. You can also serve it for dinner, along with a platter of mixed cheeses and jams.
