The seasoning of Valtellina
Pesteda is an extremely old seasoning used in Grosio cuisine (a typical Valtellina village) that has now spread to Valtellina cuisine in general. Spices and aromatic herbs are used in the preparation, to give a unique taste to every dish. A little sprinkling of Pesteda on pizzoccheri or on meats will be the secret of the special taste of your cuisine.
Pepper (51%), salt, garlic, thyme (0.8%), juniper (0.8%), achillea moscata.
